My wife and I have separated. She has left me for a " freind" of mine after less than 3 months of marriage (even though we've been together for 11 years)
We have a loan , for £25k, but it is a personal loan in her name only. Also, she has closed our joint credit card ( without my knowledge) and has transfered the debt to a new card that is in her name only. The loan was to pay a loan that I had, and also for home improvements. It was only taken out about 3 months ago.
I just want to know, as all the debts are in her name, am I reponsible for them ? She want's me to move out so she can move back home). If I do move out ( and I know from a legal point of veiw, I don't have to as it is the marrital home) i won't be able to afford to pay what she want's me to pay, and afford to live somewhere else.
She seems determined to end our relationship ASAP. I think she's being influenced by her new " man"
