Years ago, British workers fought for their rights. They took to the streets and demonstrated, they went on strike, they formed unions which stood up to the Big Bosses and demanded fair treatment.
These days, the Unions have been robbed of their teeth by Thatcher, The British worker daren't complain as Peter the Pole is willing to jump into their job at a minute's notice, and they are so laded down with credit card debt, mortgage and loan repayments that they can't afford to go on strike.
They've really done what Thatcher set out to do, haven't they? Whipped the working classes into total and utter submission . . .
We've become a country of blacklegs and scabs. No solidarity, noone caring about their neighbour because they're too busy paying off their flatscreen TV and new car . . .
Is it any wonder that working class kids sit o their arses watching JK all day when the industries and training which might have allowed them to get a decent job paying a good wage and affording them some job satisfaction have all gone? To be replaced with white collar jobs which not everyone is suited to or else godawful, low paid service industry jobs which don't pay enough to keep a roof over their heads?
