My friend always pays!?

We can help you consolidate your existing debt into one manageable amount to pay each month.

When I go out with a friend I have known for ten years she always insists on paying. She does not have more money than me and has debt. I want to take turns. She has had a lot of difficult times and I think she might treat her friends to make herself feel better, but it leaves me offended. When I try and pay she pushes me out the way and makea a tut if I try and pay. I try and pay if she goes off to the toliet, for example, but she never seams to go! I want to tell her without hurting her feelings, and from experiance am careful for it not to blow out of proportion and cause hurt. I have discussed it with another friend (we go out together) and they said they would say something (they will get away with it more than me) but I doubt they will as they will make an excuse, like it was not the right time. How about next time she mentions a bill I say I would be gratful if we could take turns paying? What do you think? Its got to the stage that I don't look forward to going out. Thanks.
Thanks for all your advice.
Have a nice evening :-)
