How many people think its not possible to live without credit cards and credit?
I don't have any credit cards. We are on a low income and due to this we mucked our credit rating up really badly a few years ago, so that I can't get a credit card or a loan etc now even if we tried. But its not a bad thing because it means we don't keep sinking ourselves deeper and deeper into debt.
I don't have an overdraft and just have to try and budget for whatever we need out of our monthly income. Most things are bought second hand or saved up for.
We don't have any of the mod-cons which most people expect to have and yes our house and cars and clothing are all a bit shabby, but serviceable. Nothing to be ashamed of.
