We got the first one when one of us had to give up work (we got 2 disabled children), and paid it off in full within 2years cos we sold the house. Then the other of us had to give up work and we have been keeping our heads above water for the last 3 years - JUST!! Problem now is we got a car off YES Car Credit which was crap, we let them repossess and now they want £7000 which tips us over the brink. Can we set up another IVA given that our total debts are over £15,000 with this £7000? I have just gone back to work and my partner will return next year, but we are only about £10 a week better off than on benefits but we are trying to get straight financially as well without having to go bankrupt as one day we would like to buy a house - at the minute we are in rented. Any advice gratefully received.....thanks
