I'm in the middle of a psychology degree, problem is now i want to be a doctor...?

We can help you consolidate your existing debt into one manageable amount to pay each month.

By the time i finish this degree (just finished 1st year, 2 more to go), i'll be £12,000 in debt. And from what i can figue out on the internet, you only get funding from the government for one degree, so the second degree (medicine degree) you do i would have to pay upfront rather than being able to get a student loan. Also i'm guessing i would need an access course onto medicine too (about £600) as i've only done a psychology, accounting and communication studies A level. Plus i'm still at home so need to save to move out (i'm 19, do care work - elderly and learning disabilities) etc. Hmm t hink i've missed the boat to be a doctor haven't i unless i live at home and sell my car till i'm 30 :(

It's only the last year i've been thinking of being a doctor, everyone inclusing those who i care for say i would be a good doctor/nurse and i'm especially enjoyinh biologigy/neurobiology as part of the degree. I've realy missed the mark haven't i????!
