I am £30k in debt and have no income. I have been juggling loans and cards for months now whilst having interviews for jobs hoping I could juggle until I get an income again, but this month I am really up to my limit and despite 3 more interviews have no offer of employment. I simply can't pay my minimum payments on 3 credit cards or on my loan. My rent is safe I won't be thrown out but I can't pay any of my other regular debts until I get a job which may be another month or two who knows? how long after missing the payments will they give me before they start to take legal action, what is the process? if I can stall them with just a couple of black marks on my credit history for late payments for a month or two that might be long enough, can anybody give me an idea of the process that happens?
Hi - debt helplines ask me to provide how much income I have and how much expenditure - then they tell people how to budget. I don't have any income. full stop. If I did I would budget and sort it out. Even if I went to a debt company which I won't, they couldn't help me because I have no income. Once I get one of these jobs I keep getting interviewed for I will be fine, they are well paid, I just need to know how much longer I have! thanks
